To contribute to the development of health care culture, intellectual research and professional continuing education of its employees, Niguarda offers classes, conventions and meetings, which are open to professionals from other hospitals as well.

The teaching mission of Niguarda is also achieved in its collaboration with the main universities of Lombardy, its professional nursing school, which offers a bachelor program, and its Center of Biomedical Documentation (Centro di Documentazione Biomedica) affiliated with the Lombardy Biomedical Library System (SBBL).
